Time for our annual vacation to someplace wonderful for an entire week! Needless to say an entire week mandates adventure and photography piled high on top of "chilaxin" and "interval training swims" to the pool swim-up bar.
I christened a new underwater camera rig consisting of a Nikon D7000, 10.5mm fisheye, an Ikelite housing with an 8" dome port and two Sea&Sea strobes.
And now kind of a personal tribute to my hero, Jaques Cousteau.
The reef dive was great but pretty strong currents. Had to be quick on the shutter release. It took us 3 hours to find the whale sharks but finally came across a school of about 25. A true site to behold and I can now check "swimming with whale sharks" off my bucket list!
